Brandon Smith has been practicing law since graduating in 2004 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal. During school, he worked as a law clerk at the legal department of the South Carolina Department of Social Services and at large law firms in Memphis and Little Rock.
He began his legal career as an associate at Turner Padget, P.A., one of South Carolina's largest law firms. After 8 years there, he decided to further and diversify his career by opening King, Love, & Smith, LLC, a firm he founded with two other partners in 2012. Their firm grew to 5 attorneys and 6 staff members between their two offices.
Opening that firm also afforded him the opportunity to fulfill his long-term goal of returning to Greenwood, SC, where he was raised. Community involvement is extremely important to Brandon, and he always wanted to be a part of Breenwood's growth and ongoing improvement.
